yea thats near me it was all over the local news here yesterday the story on the news that the man told local PD was a pelican distracted him and he dropped his cell phone and when he was trying to get his phone went off the road,what a dumb *ss sh*t like that makes me sick more money than brains :evil:

what kills me is that he LEFT THE MOTOR RUNNING!!!!!! that's a $50-100,000 engine!!! how freakin' hard is it to turn the key off? it's like not wiping your *ss after taking a sh*t.

45 feeder road isn't a place where people just swerve off into the salt marsh, even if you're talkin on the phone and distracted. It's so open and wide, I find his story hard to believe

there's a bit more to the story. he's not insanely rich, his customers are. he owns an autobody shop specializing in wrecked exotics. apparently it's a customers car or something like that. and he denies saying anything about a pelican, but he does admit to reaching for the cell phone.
there's a video on metacafe IIRC, that shows the accident. he just curves right off the road! i'll find and post the links...
