Ring gear spacer

I'm finding posi rearends, but never the right series carrier. I want to run either 3.42 or 3.08, somewhere around there.

Anybody hear anything good or bad about running a ring gear spacer?? Anyone actually have one in their car??

if i get 373s from an s10 then i would have to run a spacer.i think you might have to shorten your driveshaft to acquire one,i'm not completely sure though.
