Anyone have any experience with these?

I'm asking because I bought a 3.08 set for a 2 series carrier and ended up getting a 3.23 when it showed up in the mail. I know they make spacers to use a 3 series ring on a 2 series carrier but are they worth using?

I got it pretty cheap so there's really no point in sending it back and paying more shipping. Don't get me wrong, I can still go with this gear but I don't want to be breaking sh*t down the road if the spacers are garbage.

I was nervous when I was running one, but never had a problem with it. After awhile I forgot it was even there. There is plenty more weak spots in the 7.5 than what the spacer will cause.

As always I try to do a quick internet search on what people have to say about things before I buy them. I saw mixed opinions on spacers. I'm not building a car that I expect to hook hard or do any strip runs so I'm not too worried about it. Basically looking for better gearing and two skid marks on occasion
Thanks for the input.

I have ran ring gear spacers in several different setups or cars over the years with NO issues whatsoever.

They're only like $40 new. Motive Gear and Mr. Gasket makes them. I'd probably go with Motive Gear myself. Besides, you need the bolts that come with them too.

Never had any trouble with mine. I got it through Speedway and the bolts were included.
