I have put about 300 miles on my 84' Cutlass since the frame off. And when i reach speeds above 70 mph I really notice road noise thats resonating threw out the car. I had the tires rebalanced and this did not help. So i did some research and a few people are having the same issue with polyurethane bushings. I have energy suspension bushings in the front stock control arms. Energy suspension body bushings and trans mount. The rear control arms are from UMI which are the none adjustable. Anyone else notice the same thing?

Vibration or just noise?

Balancing tires helps for vibration, not so much for noise (except noises from stuff rattling). Could be tread design? Window weatherstripping? I've done poly bushings in both of mine and I didn't notice any sound change.

yeah tread pattern has a big deal to do with road noise. if you go on tirerack.com and look at different tires of your size it will tell you how much road noise they make.

Its definitly not a vibration it sounds like im driving a 4 wheel drive truck.

I'm leaning toward the trans mount. It has no give and I don't have any rubber isolators between the trans cross member and the frame. Many people have complained about the same issue. I have stock rubber trans mount i will try it and see if it helps. It does not appear to be coming from the rear end. The drive shaft was just balanced and has new u- joints. I can easily drown it out with the radio and its not getting any worse. I should just leave it alone but being a perfectionist I have to know what it is first.
