I have a 1987 Cutlass Salon 5.0 307 vin code Y . Anyone know the how too's of replacing the TPS sensor on the M4ME Rochester 4BBL? i know you have to pull the top plate off of the carb , but do the metering rods/jets or anything else come out too-are they attached to the underside of the upper plate? And i need to know if anyone knows how to check the voltage of the TPS(what are the proper operating readings/voltage)? Any help is greatly appreciated guys!

I believe when you remove the air horn (upper part of carb) the metering rods and the springs will rise up along with the metering rod assembly and power piston.Once you remove the air horn, remove the one screw the its attached to and pull it out,i dont remeber if it does have a screw or if its attached to anything, but from what i recall it should be easy.
