theres a tool company called rockwell thats has a tv ad that say the tool has 800 lbs of tq. now normally when you ask, "hey how much tq ya got?" you say something like oh i got 300 ft/lbs. well i looked up this tool and it has 800 in/lbs. wtf is that? ill tell ya what it is, its a lil more than 66ft/lbs. wtf rockwell, why ya gotta do people like that? that to me is semi false advertising. thats like saying my car makes 3600 lbs of tq. ...pisses me off... :soapbox:

What kind of tool is it?

its a driver/2speed drill/impact gun thats 12 volts lithium ion. it looked like a good idea, till they exaggerated the output.

Well, just how much force do you think your wrist will be able to hold back? While this rockwell drill/driver might not be up for everyday use in the field, if priced right might be a nice unit for weekend and hobby use. I'd stick with DeWalt.

my buddy had a brand new dewalt drill and while we were using it it would all of a sudden just quit. swap battries, and everything else and nothing would make it work becides time. my buddy bought the makita drill and driver set for like 270 something and i personally used this tool. its got around 122 ft/lbs of tq and ive used it to put the f41 bars on my elky. i found the holes and i aquired some self-tapping bolts from a gp i got the f41 bars from. the holes under the elky were not threaded, so i used the self tapping bolts and the impact gun to secure the bars and it was butter. that impact gun is my new fav tool. but i wont use dewalt, now im biased.
