The drip rail moulding on the 80 malibu is 3 pieces. I kind of just worked the center pieces off with my fingers on each side. Front and back pieces not so easy. Now I have read all kinds of different ways to take them off...bottle openers, screwdriver, small pieces of wood and tapping wood lightly with hammer etc. My 66 malibu was just one long piece and I worked them off with my fingers...these front and rears on the 80 don't want to budge. Best ways from you g body experts??? Thanks

The front piece that runs up and down on the A pillar is held on by..if I remember correctly...3 small screws that are below/under the weather stripping. I'm pretty sure the back piece is much like the long center piece and should just "peel" off. I've removed a few but it's been awhile. I did have pics at one time but can't seem to find them now...

I will check for screws under the weather stripping. Thanks
