Rotors!!!!

you can get stock replacement rotors that are slotted and drilled. try auto zone or dixiemontecarlo.com
 
why? D&S are nearly useless on the street, and extremely prone to cracking. they are only useful on the track, and i doubt you're doing that.

I believe what he's getting at is that if your looking for stock replacement rotors that are drilled and slotted then your wasting your money because the stock brakes aren't great for track duty.

You'd be better off putting the money towards a bigger brake upgrade. The D&S rotors aren't going to gain you much if anything in performance. They're mostly for looks.
 
FE3X said it. if you're doing road/autoX type racing you need something MUCH better than the stock, underpowered, small diameter brakes.
honestly, i have to wonder if YOU know about the purpose and usage of D&S rotors. gas slots aren't too bad as long as they aren't very deep. but drilling creates major weak points. especially as the rotor heat cycles and the metal flexes around the holes. you start out with micro-fractures and stress fractures. these quickly turn into complete cracks and fractures. then the rotors explode! that's why people who need these on the track replace them after every use.
if you're doing drag strip, you won't generate enough heat to warrant the full drill/slot treatment. you'd be better off with a high quality vented rotor and carbon pads.
