a section of rear brake line just downstream of the combination value broke on my car. the OE routing puts that line on the outside of the transmission crossmember and it isn't really possible to route the line the same way. i am thinking about routing it on the inside of the transmission crossmember (between the body and the crossmember).
here is the plan (see image).
the red is the OE routing and the green is the deviation i'd like to make using double flares and appropriate fittings.
does that seem reasonable?
