we had that happen with a customers car. she was complaining of a rattle after winter storage. when we pulled the muffler out we got a bucket of roasted nuts!

I bought a xs650 yamaha from a guy and had something similar happen. It turned out to be dry dog food. It shot out of the pipes a good fifty feet, clearing my entire driveway and the street as well. Sounded like a gattling gun!
