rusty brake fitting how to clean

i put this in general discussion due to i want to make it a helpful hint once answered how do you clean rust brake fittings like this?

If I was going to clean it I would probably use a Dremel with a flex shaft and a wire wheel on the end but I personally would not waste time cleaning it, instead I would just make a new line out of cunifer tubing and bend it to match that one.
