Hey Guys .

Got a few questions Im building a 355 chevy for my 85 442 project strip/street notice streets 2nd

Anyway Im in the middle of searching for my long tubes and come across Schoenfeld Headers They are long tubes with 1-3/4 tubes which i think is perfect for my combo

they are 179.99 and seem to be a screaming deal. vs any other g body specific long tube like super comp list for like 500+

Whose has had these any rants or raves ? fittment qaulity?

thanks Erik O

I don't think that you can run the ac/heater box with those. Quality seems to be ok from what i hear. I plan to run them whenever i get new headers. You could ask this over on maliburacing.com, there's alot of gouys there running them.

thanks alot.

Im not running an a/c box or anything so It looks like a score for me!

I am running these because of my D port heads, those large primaries seal great. I did delete my ac box so fitment problems there but my drag racing pan makes for a tight oil filter clearance.

Im running patriot h8047 which are another division of that make. They are 1 5/8 tho. But i love them fit great with angle plug heads and the manual factory zbar setup. I even got plenty of room for a normal starter. I have hooker supercomps in my wagon i think next time patriot has my $$$

I installed a set of 1 7/8" and they installed 100% easier then the flowtech 1 5/8

Did you use them on your LS install?

I run them - Had to clearance the lower a arm (passenger) and the starter is a little tricky to get in. You will need to get a little creative running your plug wires. Love em
