well thats why i dont buy a hood unless i can pick it up locally. anyhow i will say you will find that the hood by the right rear corner is going to have a dent unless they fixed the mold as i went thru 2 and my body guy told me it had to be in the tool cause they are in the same spot this was back in 2002 when i did my 83.

It could also be the Gorillas that handle the shipping. In either case, someone is going to have to make good for the hood.
It does suck when you're expecting a product to arrive at your door in good shape. Next step, you unbox it and hopefully bolt it on your car. It's disappointing to say the least.

well i called summit and gave them an ear full and they are going to send yet another hood but i have to send the 2 back but obviously dont have to pay for s&h. the box wasnt damaged so someone at goodmark probobly dropped it and threw it in a box so no one would know. summit said that they dont check the boxes they get from goodmark so it was probobly them. ill keep you guys updated

never have a problem with summit although the floor pan I got from them was from goodmark 😵

Why didn't you research for a goodmark dealer near you?? I bought my 2" Cowl Hood from a goodmark dealer in my area and he opened the box up and took the hood out and we both checked it and it fits pretty damn nice too....I hope the third time is the charm for you....BTW, I know your all upset about ot but do you really have to drop the F bombs in the heading??? If you gotta do it in your post that's one thing, but in the heading is not too cool as that's the first thing my SON and I both sawe as soon as we got on GBF
