All I can tell you is that used it through the carb on my 307, and it cleaned it out so well that I needed to replace the valve seals when I was done. $500 bucks and the heads redone later... That's my only experience with it...

It does a good job at cleaning up the engine, but if you have a cam lobe worn down, you need to replace the cam and lifters.

its called SEAFOAM

I used it a 97 plymouth voyager for sticky valves and/or lifters and it worked for a little bit.It can be added to the Crank case, gas tank and through the vaccum line.It does clean it out well.

I like SeaFoaming the scooter and especially the Banshee, you thought 2 strokes smoked

Yea if you have alot of buildup it makes yer car smoke like cheech and chong were sittin in yer passenger seats!

It's really good at dissolving carbon buildup. A lot of people use it in 2 cycle outboard motors because they are bad about building up carbon in the exhaust.

been using it for years now in the gas tank. bout twice a year for daily driving, 3-4 times a year in my work car. used in everything from 93 s10 4.3, 95 nissan p/u 2.4, 05 scion xb 1.5, 70 vw beetle 1.5. just recently added some to a friends f250 6.0 diesel with major improvements: quicker starts, less smoke at start up, smoother idle. best way i have seen to use it is about one can per 20+ gallons. My scion only has a 10 gallon tank, so i put half a can in it. great stuff, just use sparingly.

i hope you only put it in the fuel!!! seafoam is good for gas engines, but death for diesels--when added to the intake.
