New here, had a few G-bodies (pics below) and I'm ready to get another one. The reason I love these cars so much is because my father purchased a 79 Cutlass in the early 80's and I grew up with this car. We always worked on it together and we put a lot of miles on it. Regretably in 93 he had to sell it to help him finance a new car as the cutlass was shot, we saved it for a year and the town fined us, we had no where to store it, so we had to sell it (HUGE MISTAKE) but I was 14 and had no money to fix it or drive it.

I'm ready to begin my search for a 79 white/maroon cutlass. I will settle for a 78 or 78-79 white, silver or black. These are becoming very hard to find =( I want my 79 Cutlass back. I'm 31 now and this car is still my first love. Growning up I tried to buy G-bodies but only could afford ROUGH ones as you will see below. I'm ready to do it right this time. If any of you can help me in my search I'd be more than greatful. Thanks guys. Wonderful site you have here.

PICS.

In 2000 I purchased this 87 Cutlass with T-tops and front end damage hoping to change it over to the look of the 79. I ran into financial problem and had to sell the car as I made a decent profit off it.

I paid $280 for this 83 Monte with t-tops, but it would not pass emissions and need a lot of work. Drove it for a year and then a kid in a Lexus ran a red light. I ended up making $1500
