So today I replaced the hack job seats that were in the swagger wagon. The only seats I could find at the salvage yard were 60/40 splits out of a cutlass. The seats clash with the rest of the interior but I like it, reminds me of my personality. Here or some pics of the finished product and the way the seats used to be bolted in.

this is how the front of the drivers seat was bolted down.

the rear of the seats were bolted from under the car just through the floor pan.

Those bolts look like they would break if you hit a pothole! Wow that's scary. Could only imagine what would happen in an accident.

You might eventually want to change out those U-bolts for the factory type weld-in mounts.

The u bolts and all the crap that was part of the rigged up seats are gone. The original mounts are still in the car so I used them

looks much better with the cutty seat. its more surprising that you were able to find one in such good condition in the area.

I got lucky there are 3 yards close to where I live one didn't have any gbodys at all the other had some cars but no seats. Finally the last place said they had an elco in the yard but I couldn't find it and as I was leaving the cutty was dropped off
