Ok so I 1000% confirmed that my interior is Claret/Oxblood as we thought. Got my samples from ACC for the carpet and that is it. The seatbelt samples I got from seat belt planet, maroon looks nice against it and is the closest...but is a different color from.the rear belts which are original and not faded. Where can I find the OG color seatbelts?

Seats are getting done in Claret/Oxblood Vinyl. So trying to decide what I should do for seatbelt color..or if anyone sells Claret/Oxblood belts. What route you fellas recommend I go here?

Thanks guys.

Have you checked with other seatbelt venders on what they have for shades? I know for an average daily driven car a close enough color works but I understand with the detail work your ride has getting the belts right is something I'd even push for. I know what it's like just to find used ones in the right color for my dark maple & now for Jr.'s camel tan. It's worse for the shoulder belts as they get the most sun exposure to discolor them.

I found these:

They show as being available in Claret/Oxblood. Just not sure if they will fit the Cutlass. Not sure why they only show as Monte and Malibu. Still searching other sites. And yeah Pagrunt, to some may be a lil much...but its important to me as I continue this build to make it look and be correct..even down to seatbelt color. Lol.

They'll fit but you'll also need a set of retractor door jamb lever hole covers as the aftermarket don't use them. All the coupes share the same shoulder belts. The front center is seat specific with the originals regardless of the number of doors. All rear seats are the same & are used in other models too. El Camino/Caballero shoulder belts are only for them. But then again, nothing fits a Cutlass Supreme to include Cutlass Supreme parts.

Found these for block offs. Can send em out to get engraved too lol!

I am a tad confused with what you said about front center seat being specific to originals. Does this mean that I would need a Cutlass middle seat belt? I.E the one is this kit wouldn't work for my application?

I noticed this too...these ones have a long metal extension...where my stock don't..not do other Cutlass ones I've seen. Not sure how that would work. 🤔

It'll be like for full bench seat, 55/45 or 50/50 split bench seats, bucket seats. With them not having the plastic sleeves like the OE they should be able to fit all bench seats. With those long metal extentions, the OE's are covered with the plastic cover sleeve. Dixie sells them too to either cover the new aftermarket sets & replace the them on the OE sets. OE are rivited on.

You may want to try these folks. 82-88 Cutlass, they call it maroon, I call it Dk. Claret. But you can always order a swatch. A bit pricey, but comes with a refurbished GM buckle (everything else is new) and you would need to re-use your plastic buckle side plastic pieces, which you probably would have to with any ready to bolt-in seat belt set. About 630 give or take for the entire set, brand new.

You can call these guys as well. In Florida. I suspect, but cannot prove, they supply all the typical vendors with the generic buckle seatbelts.

Spoke with seatbelt planet..really good service so far from them. They can color match any color via a sublimation processes. To do the front belts, new with exact match sublimation would be a tad over $800 for the set.

The seatbelts plus folks you listed 69hurstolds, have the same colors listed as Seatbelt planet...and that maroon I am guessing is gonna be the same as the maroon I got from Seatbelt Plant. Looks Claret until compared next to it. I ordered a sample to confirm for sure. 👍

Going to continue to research as I have time and don't need em yet. Will keep you guys in loop.

The other thing is...I am trying to stick with belts that don't have that big metal peice that will require the big plastic sleeve on the outside of the pull belt. Mine is short now with a small cover. Want to keep it like this for sure. Obviously the female end of the belt has a long plastic cover..but its not seen due to it being between the seat.
But I like the short cover like this for sure that I have now.

If you pull up the carpet under your "short" sleeve, you'll see it's a long piece of metal underneath as the bolt goes into the outboard side of the pan belly.
