Shifter troubles

I was driving my grand prix and went to shift into 3rd gear and the shifter just went limp. It was able to get the car in 2nd and was able to make it home but it was tough. I'm going to get under the car in the morning to have a look. I'm thinking that the 3-4 Shifter rod came off. What else could it be?

Might just be a loose lever bolt, it'll be the easiest fix if it is the problem.

Just as I suspected, the 3-4 rod came off. I fixed it this morning and it's good to go.
