Has anyone installed side pipes (like the corvettes side exhaust pipes)on their cutlass? I would like to see how.u installed them..thnx

. sure looks good on those late 80's early 90's s10's/blazers though 
I think the side pipe craze went out in the '70's. It looked good on custom vans and a few Corvettes, that's about it.
Well this.is going on my friends monte..we are going to make the exhaust pipes and test fit them..and then fabricating so me lower rockers that flow with the body..
The great thing about this hobby is making a car yours. I wouldn't do it personally but it's not my car, but if I was going to attempt it. I would try to make rocker extensions for a cleaner look. Something like roush did with there mustang side exit exhaust.

side exhaust = burned legs. and if it's not done right, which it rarely ever is anymore, it's going to look and sound horrible. and then there's the burning of your legs as you get out of the car, hope you wear pants year round or have lots of aloe for the burns. i'm talking instant 2nd to 3rd degree burns, not "oh that's hot, i shouldn't touch that" but "holy sh*t that ****ing hurt!" burns.

Is the guy trying to do dual exhaust on the cheap? I have never seen side pipes on a g-body, but i don't think it would look that attractive. If he wants duals why not put 2.25" or 2.5" tire warmers on it with some cheap 12" glass packs? Its a lot cheaper in pipe and time since your not going over the rear end.
not my cup of tea to see side pipes on a g body. I have seen a cutlass and a Malibu with them. but to each their own. here is one pic I found you for reference
