well guys am thinking of doing a single turbo on my new project 4 bolt main sbc 355 but i dont know were to start looking for a turbo kit (not twin turbo kit) the only kits i see are on ebay but they look kind of shity are they any good?were can i get a good kit from

depends if you want to run headers or not.

you can switch chevy manifolds side to side so you have them pointing forward. then the fab part. routing the tubing together ton a flange. plus intercooler piping, bov, and exhaust.

If i did something like this i would buy all the mandrel bends cut and tack everything until i had it fit right and then take the pipes to get finish welded.

pretty much same goes if you run headers though. i heard ecelbrock carbs are pretty easy to convert to blow through.

NO EBAY kit pls.... i got one a year ago for a civic just to try them out on a low buget build and u get what u pay for. the turbo only last me 2 months and the manifold i got with the kit also cracked in a couple spots. i think it was a ssautochrome kit and that was there user ID too. just part one out and take ur time is what i did on my current build. good luck!

you mean all the piping? i dont think they sell a universal kit besides the ebay ones and the equivalent. you could easily piece together a setup like that.

If i were you, i would go procharger. belt driven, pretty much bolt on and minimal fab. compared to a turbo. kinda pricey though.
