Has anyone ever had any success with a mono wiper? Meaning using a single wiper from the passenger side pivot that travels approx 180 degrees?

I go with "zero" as opposed to a mono windshield wiper motor. Removed the windshield wipers and motors sometime ago. Mechanic who inspects the car has not noticed or has not asked me about it, yet. No static from the police either. The tradeoff is, I don't drive it in the rain.

Why? That’s a euro thing.
My kid wants to try it - different ya' know.

Was really hoping someone has done it with a minor 'how to' description ;/

Back in 97 I set my golf up with a single wiper, it was in style back then. I basically just took off the drivers side and raised the passenger side up. I Manitoba get it so it cleaned most of the windshield, but I wouldn’t recommend it.
