i went to my buddys house that i havnt talked to for awhile to get his opinion on some heads mine have a bad guide or seal . i had found some on craigslist a set of 882s and 624s i think and they were milled , 3angle valve job new this new that . well he called his friend that knows heads and has built busch cars and winston cup cars . he said i should tie a rope around them and use them as a boat anchor and keep mine they are a step below camel heads . he said he will port , clean and a bunch of other stuff and make sure there ready for new valves for $100 . i trust my buddy he has a 79 malibu with about 500hp ill get some pics its nasty . so when i took the heads off my motor i found 2 different pistons  3 two valve and 5 for valve . i have been told this is not good . so being that i goona do it right over the winter my buddy with the bu has a 4 bolt main that need new rings (i might punch it out) sittin in his garage plus a bunch of other stuff i need edelbrock double roller , a rowdy cam with lifters , rods , springs too match , dampener , plugwires (mine are burnt up from headers) , and he just bought ford 9in with disc brakes but it has to be narrowed and a 4link for it . he is gonig to sell me his 7.5 that he pounds on he told me he spent about 1200 on rebuilding it . it has 373 gears and its a real locker rearend . i am also trading him my 700r4 i bought he wanted one for awile to give to his freind along with $800 . he is having the transmission built to be a manual shift you will not be able to put it in overdive and just go it would start in 4th gear and he needs it too handle nos he has his car set up for it but it has never had a bottle hooked up . so im going to have him do my motor and im gonig to get his transmission with the 3500 stall for the cam and his rearend . people say if your gonna do it , do it right . 😀
