I was out and about on Saturday and drove by a wrecker that does not open weekends. Earlier this year they actually went from self serve wrecker to a "we'll pull your parts for you", anyway I spotted a 78 or 79 El Camino in the yard and called on it Monday. I was told I'd get a call back shortly. After not hearing anything I stopped by after work yesterday, when I pulled up I was greeted with this...

Took a few pics and went into the office. I was told that the camino has been moved to another yard....were you interested? I said yes perhaps I'd buy it complete....they are supposed to get back to me. I also asked about the Regal and she chuckled and said not sure yet...we just got it in, I'll let you know on that one too. We'll see...

I’d stay on top of these. I went through a similar situation trying to salvage parts off an old wagon with Emmanuel cuellar. The wagon had been sold, but the new owner didn’t care about the fender moldings, so thankfully was able to score those. I say keep bugging them until they relent, and agree to sell it to you.

Forgot to post a picture of the Camino.....it actually looked pretty decent through the fence...

They are supposed to contact me with more pics and info on it....they did tell me they don't have keys for it so not even sure if it runs or not.

Well I rec'd some more pics of the Camino...asked about seeing it in person but no response...

It has the chin spoiler but not sure it it's an SS car or not.

so what I couldn't see from the fence is that it's rusty in the quarters...

I was told they didn't get keys with it so who knows if it runs...alternator is laying inside the cab..

Heat only car and no real options that I can see other than tilt wheel...

I was given a price and they are firm on it...more than I thought but that's me. Oh and when I asked about the Regal I heard nothing back.
