do spindles actually push out out your wheels 1/2 an inch. i have camaro rally rims on my cutty and i dont have that much room to play with. and i want to lower it 3" in the front and 2" in the back. so the wheel wells will just be over it abit. so can someone give me an honest anwser if DJM spindles move them out? or any spindles do?

They move the wheel out half an inch on 78-80 models. DJM spindles, aswell as any other brand, make them originally for s-10s, which are 82-up and all metric. 78-80 g-bodys aren't metric and the wheel bearings are half an inch closer together, and the spindles and hub are half an inch shorter.

78-81 A-bodies are Imperial SAE ....82 starts the G-body and I do believe 82 up was metric. I was scratching my head trying to figure out why 12mm lugs didn't fit my 81 lol btw if those are original Chevy rallies ... the backspace is probably in an extra 1/4" versus a G-body wheel

so theoretically they should move for rims in? i know the rallies are backspaced a 1/4 " more.
