So I tried to turn on my car and turns over fine but does not start. sometimes shoots fire threw carb and smoke at times , should I stop ? Is it the weather ? Timeing and carb adjustment is set right so why Is it acting up on summer it would turn over just fine

A little more history of the problem would help - I'm guessing an electrical problem of some sort, make sure you are getting spark to the plugs - could be damp weather w/ bad wires, cracked cap, rotor, bad module or coil.

No it's been tuned and set by street outlaw Kayla Morton they built my engine it has not been messed with except the carb. Carb was tuned and turn on fine but my battery is marking 11v which I think it's uncharged. The engine would turn over just fine everything is new on it I'm just scared and confused on the fire and smoke or fuel that shoots out of the carb.

It sounds like your distributor is 180 degrees out. Double check their work and see if they didn't put the cap on wrong. Get a firing order for your engine and get the 1# cylinder at TDC. I had that issue with my 350 Buick when I first put it in, it would crank and crank then get a flame out the carb/exhaust manifold. Hope that helps.

The only things that can make a motor fire in the intake are valves open when they shouldn't be, rockers set to tight, bent/stuck valves or the firing order is off either by the dist being way out of wack or the wires on in the wrong order making a plug fire when the intake valve is open

If it started and ran fine the last time you ran it and the distributor has never been out you may want to check that it hasn't jumped time and/or the quality of the old fuel that's in it. good luck.

ide bet dollars to donuts its a timing problem, hopefully just some moisture in the dizzy causing a misfire, or possibly bad wires,, otherwise a jumped timing chain.

If it was running fine the last time you drove it and nothing has been messed with since, it's not likely a timing or mechanical failure. I'd suspect fuel supply (fuel pump, out of gas, etc) or possibly a failed cap/rotor causing a crossfire.

Spark plugs are burnt , fuel is at 12 psi instead of 6 to 7 , oil and fuel is mixed with oil to much so basically a tune up.
