Sould I take out the internal dampers on my valve springs?

On monday I got my heads back from a local machine shop. I told them to take out the dampers on the springs, and they said they would. I got the back on said day, and they were all still on. Now, should I take them off? I do NOT want to risk wiping a cam after all this. Springs look like the ones in the picture btw.

No need dude its only a single spring with a damper. It doesn't add any spring pressure, just dampens spring oscillation.
 
Ok good. Still new to this engine building business. Got tons of "book knowledge" but this is my first actual build. Sitting in my room with the fresh cyl. heads putting on better valve stem seals and I got to wondering is all.
 
Yea you will be fine. You only need to take out the inners if you have inner springs. Mine had the outer spring, the dampeners, and the inner springs.
