My old plugs were bad so i bought new ones. Dont know the size of my cam but i know it is bigger than stock. I noticed the spark plug gap was .50, i didnt know if that was right so i look up the stock gap and saw it was .35. Now the car wont start does that make sense any one, Thanks Kevin

assuming the plugs are in the engine with .050 gap, it could be too far for the ignition system. i'd set them to .035 and see if the engine fires.
did you replace the plugs with the exact same type?

The ones with the .50 gap or.45 i dont remember gap those are the ones that the engine was running with. When i put the .35 gap it wont start and there are not the same plugs as i replaced

pull a plug, reattach it to the wire, put it near a ground and crank the engine. you should see it spark. if not, swap it for one of your old plugs. if you still don't get spark you probably need a coil or module.
what's the old spark plug number and the new number?

i just thought of this, detail inspect the wires. if they've been sitting around they may have broken when you pulled 'em off the plugs.

I would even go so far as to test the wires with a Volt-ohm meter to check for continuity. I had a cylinder that would not fire once and the wires looked fine. I replaced them and the problem cleared up, possibly from an internal break in the conductor that I could not see.I don't know what they are supposed to read, but it is measured in ohms per foot.

wires

is it possible that you mixed up the firing order when connecting the wires or knocked off the wires on the side of the distributor that feed the coil?

im getting spark i jumped the car and it started but of corse the throttle got stuck so i turned it off. The next thing i gotta do is change the battery then im gonna check all the wires and everything before i buy new ones. Im gonna wait till the new battery and then try again, thanks kevin
