I got my dash out replacing it and I need to replace the factory front speakers. What do you guys suggest as a real good replacement speaker for factory speakers? I want to use the same speaker locations in the dash.

I'm running Pioneer with bass blockers. Not bad for a tiny speaker.

I replaced all my factory speakers with Pioneer. 3.5 in the front and 4x10 in the back. I'm running a JVC head unit mounted under the dash, so I could keep my stock one in. I had to remove the ash tray though. I had a Pioneer deck but it had tons of static and engine noise. Apparently there are fuses in Pioneer decks that can blow and cause that to happen. My last 3 have done that so no more Pioneer decks for me.

You must have ESP, I was just going to post the same thing, I did not know google sold stuff..Thanks for the links 8)

I'm runnin' kicker 3.5's w/ bass blockers they sound good, had to mess w/ the brackets to get the speakers grilles to sit right but it was worth it.. Kicker 4x10's in back, 10" kicker L7 in a ported box, JL amp, alpine deck, q logic kick panels w/ kicker 6's, swappin' the 4x10's for 6x9's w/ adapters in the next couple weeks.. oh I've got kicker tweeters in the kick panels too.. it all sounds great....

I've ran both Pioneer and JBL 3.5" front speakers in the past and they have both sounded decent.

But I found they both sounded better if you fed them more wattage than what a factory deck puts out.

i just installed a set of infinty reference 3.5s on sunday through the top of the dash, wow what a painfully nerve racking experiance, trying to slip them things in without damaging the dash. the magnet on these things is huge so its really tight from the top. the other issue i had was the tweeters are huge, so i had to cut the grilles for them to fit through, the sound is pretty amazing over the factory speakers. i got the the 3.5s, a set infinty 6x9 3 ways, and adaptors through amazon for 159 bucks. im very happy with the way the 3.5s sound though.

I just replaced mine last Saturday. I used two stock ones that I found in a 1984 Cutlass dash at the junkyard. They sound like butt. I like them because now the sound matches the look of my car.

i got sum clearions man and they sound nice and clear i've had them for about two years and there still going strong
