Hi guys I'm confused on which size to get it see that the 2 piece cable is for cars with cruise and stuff so I'm guessing I need is the 1 piece but they have 80"or 100" one and everywhere I read some people say the 80-84" one works and some say the 100" one works when I took my trans out of the SS I didn't take the cable out so I don't know how long it was.I'm putting the 2004R in my 79 malibu and i would like to know what's the right size cable I need.

Get one that will fit the car that that 200-4r came out of and you should be good to go.

I can definitely help you out here as I just went through this myself.
I installed a 200r4 behind a Chevy 350, and the 80" cable is a perfect fit. No issues whatsoever.
Just route it exactly the same way as it was from the factory (along the transmission crossmember to the driver's side frame rail then up to the firewall).
The extra 20" of the 100" cable would be way too long.

I understand that point but there are 2 sizes to Monte SS and I don't have the SS anymore so I don't know the length.
