Anyone ever tackled this? Is it a huge hassle? I know I have to pull my cluster which I am ok with. Any tips or advice are welcome!

Make sure you route it the same or you could burn it up on a header, causing it to lock up the driven gear, locking up the drive gear, spitting the little clip that holds the drive gear on, that happens to lock up the governer, causing you to pull the transmission because it wont shift, to find out you could have fixed in 20 minutes in car.....dont ask me how i know...lol

Also make sure you keep the retainer clip on the cable for locking it in place where it goes into the trans......ask me how I know............

Just an update for anyone needing a speedometer cable: I couldn't find the two piece speedometer cable w/cruise control that mine calls for ANYWHERE. Came upon www.speedometersolutions.com, called them up, very knowledgeable, let me know that I didn't actually HAVE to use a two piece and they made me a custom cable for $47.50. Went right in, works great, NO issues at all. Their phone number is: 414-463-6660
