Speedometer removal question

Hey guys,

Can I remove the speedo by ubolting it from the pod or do I have to remove the entire cluster? Either was how difficult is it to wrestle off the speedo cable from the unit? Is there a secret to dislodge It? Thanks.

I know that the Cutty & Regal speedometers can easily be unbolted after removing the bezel. The spedo cable is also esily removed.

Im wondering how easy it is to detach the cable wire. If I unbolt the guage from the cluster does it just pull right out or is there a method to disconnect the cable from the gauge.
