So today was the day. After working on the car for a few hours reupholstering my new seats, my dad said "it's cold now, I want my garage space back." sh*t. My car hasn't seen a drop of rain in the 9 months I've had it. Tonight forecast- 30% chance of snow. So I put the cheapie cover I have for it on the car, and hopefully that'll do. I am kinda afraid it'll get stolen, but I don't live in too-too bad of a neighborhood (I live in Pittsburgh) and the car is close to the house. I keep going downstairs to check on it, lol. I don't think I'm gonna sleep to well tonight.

I'll post pics of the braces on this thread as soon as I get a chance to get on my desktop, by tomorrow for sure.

eh I wouldn't worry too much..just keep the doors locked and the *ss end of the car against the house so a tow truck just cant sweep it off the back wheels..its hard to stop thefts when your car is outside the garage

Well ironically the locks don't work, but I got 'the club' on it, and trust me I'd hear a tow truck if they tried that manuever. Actually I don't think they could fit a tow truck behind it, there's not a lot of room behind the car. My room is right above the driveway, and is so far from sound deadened, I can hear a pin drop outside, lol. I left the driveway light on too.

pop the ignition wire off the distributor. even if they do quietly pop the column so you don't hear, she'll turn over all night before she starts. Unless they figure it out. By then you'll probably be awake.

Do all that and...
Take the battery out and, Park your Family's other car right against the bumper. Cover her up and go to bed.

Battery's dead, they won't get a so much as the lights to turn on.

And dad's Camry is park right behind it, no tow truck would fit back there.
