Got another question for you guys. The front seat in my wagon is a power split bench out of a late 80s Cutlass. Im assuming its out of a sedan, maybe a wagon. Now that I have both pieces out of the car I can see the transmission is broken into two pieces. It wasnt like that when I took it to the body shop but its destroyed now.

So Im planning on making the drivers side manual. In doing that I wont be needing the trim thats on the bottom of the seat ( its beat to death anyway) but the passenger seat is a recliner. It has the lever on the side and also the aluminum trim. It there a way of converting the passenger side to a non reclining seat ?

I dont really want the trim on the one side and not the other.
I have a line on a full bench thats in a Cutlass sedan but I kinda like the split bench. Anyone know how/if this can be done ?
