im Thinking about putting a spoiler on my Monte Carlo but I’m curious if it will leak in my trunk when it rain?
Ditto on the strip caulk, its very useful for that purpose and connections around heat/ac. Keep a box in your garage, you’ll find many uses, just like WD-40 and Prep-sol. Make sure you protect the paint where you drill through.^ ^he's rite,3m makes a product called strip chalk.put it on the base of the spoiler where the stud or bolts meet the underside. that way when you place it on the deck lid it'll squish around where the hardware passes through the lid.also put some on the backside of the nut so when it's tightend up it seal from the bottom side up.some on the threads won't hurt either.
