Someone shed a little light on me.
I spent this winter gloomy, but managed to find my gbody and source some stuff I needed for this engine build.
few days ago I got the car here finally.
Yesterday I pull the brakes off the back, tiem for new backing plates, spring kit drums wheel cyls, the whole 9.
pulled the back seat and the front seats.
As im swapping the old front buckets with some lighter basic buckets.

Today I pulled the headliner out
and started rippin up the carpet, and I find the drivers floorbored in front of the seat mounts, to be non existant.
No big deal, I start shopp vaccin it out, n my dad comes up n starts knockin on a spot behind me, I turned fast startled.
POP POP
my left knee makes 2 crunches, the knee cap popped to the right n popped back.
So here I am so depressed, Trying to nurse my 9th knee dislocation.. and pissed because I was finally getting work done, and stuff like this ALWAYS happens any time Im gettign anything done.

welcome to the club. for the low low price of all you own, we'll give you all the sh*t you can handle. plus more!!!
but seriously that does suck. my knee used to go out on me too, and i try not to think about the rust in my car. 😢

Im going to fix the holes on the isnide. thats about it for rust repair
hahaha maybe a tiny bit on the outside, its a rat rod, I'm going to try n do all the repair i do without a drip of bondo.
Shaving the vynal top will be the hardest.

Seems every car i work on fights me, haha.

i had a couple of cars that i wouldn't fix, just because everytime i fixed one thing, something else broke. if i didn't fix the problem, it'd be the only problem. :itchy:

Yeah, my second Nissan Sentra was my bad luck car. Every time I got near to painting it, it got hit, or I hit something with it. Eventually, it got killed in a traffic accident, and so did the cartilage in my right knee. To this day, it still causes me trouble. If I did not have this problem, I could get a part time job that makes $700-800 a week waiting tables with someone I know. Instead, I deliver pizza for about $600-650 a week ( $500 after taxes and gas).

Also, your floor issues make my car look rock solid by comparison! I just finished booger welding in some patches to mine, and will try to fiberglass over the patches tomorrow to seal it all up. Yours should just get new pans, but you could also butcher it with some flashing and pop rivets, followed by some roofing tar or silicone to seal it.
