I was thinking of changing my power stearing to manual stearing I heard that an s10 box would work i wanted to know if that was true or not and what other boxes can i use :?: :?: :?:

Yes the s10 steering box will work its a direct bolt in.. I know that because I am currently useing the same box in my cutlass wagon..

Any Saginaw manual box from the 60's on up will swap right in. Just be sure to get the correct Pitman arm. The manual and 600 series (snap ring cover) use a small diameter Pitman shaft. The 800 series (4 bolt cover) uses a larger diameter Pitman shaft. The rag joint changed too, but I forget what the year was.

There ya go, that makes it easy.

Agree 100% with chevy 2480. Done it before myself.

Can you still use a s-10 box with the jeep steering shaft? I think I also read something about using a camaro or firebird steering box...I'm not to sure of that though.
