hello people: Do all g bodies have the same steering boxs? I'm looking for a new hard line (return line) coming out of the SB for a 86T Buick. It's just a bent tube..

the boxes themselves can be different car to car but the return line is usually nothing special as it doesn't see much pressure.they're usually a steel line w/a rubber hose clamped on.

I got my factory-spec replacement high pressure line at AutoZone for $16 and the return line is just a high temp 3/8 ID rubber hose coming back from a $30 cooler stuck to the radiator. My factory return line was rubber also; it had gotten hard over 36 years but was still perfectly functional. I used some nice clamps...

Yeah, even the GM replacement return line fitting has a dog nut on the end of it but it's a straight pipe. You have to bend it to where you want it.

This is what I bought.
