There's information on the internet about swapping faster ratio steering boxes woth more road feel into G bodys. It says a mid 90's Jeep grand Cherokee box is a good swap.Dp any of you have any experience with this or other steering boxes?

Why not just use a fast ratio G body box? It's 2.25 turns lock to lock and it bolts right in. It was standard on cars like the Monte SS.

I think the other threads about that were actually talking about just the steering shaft.

I was told, maybe wrong, the Jeep box is a bolt in.But I'm not afraid to take one apart and swap the gears and T bar thing. the Grand Cherokee sure does look like a GM box though.
A Monte box would be nice ,I can't seem to find one.. Or a 350 buck rebuild box or aftermarket box.

i'm not sure how much you looking to spend, but when i had plan to put in a quicker ratio steering box on my Bu. I was going to get it from the local autozone or kragen.
