steering column swap

will a steering column out of a 85 cutlass work in a 78 cutlass they are both tilt the 85 has cruise and the 78 does not

It should be a bolt in but the 85 column would have the wipers on the column and the 78 is in the dash. If you're not worried about hooking up the column wipers just use the dash wipers. Not sure if any other wiring is different though.
