Im looking to put a new set of rims on my car but I have to add wheel spacers to the rear. Can anybody tell me what the standard length of stud is on a gm 7.5 rear. It is on an 84 GP LE

How big of spacers? Anything over 5/16", you should probably get adapters instead of spacers.

They are 1in spacers. This car is not going to be a drag car or anything. Just a street car for now. I just want to get my new rims on the car. If I ever go bigger power than the 305 I will end up doing things completely diff. I just need to know what the stock length is so I can order the longer studs.

Well while I would highly recommend not using 1" spacers. The info you want is the studs are about 1 5/8" long on the threads.

yeah, X2
when you're talking anything bigger than 1/2 inch, I would use adaptors over spacers.

but in any case... if you do go that route, you can buy "extended studs" which are almost 3" long... 2-7/8s to be exact. This will not only clear your 1" spacer, but also leave enough thread past your wheels for the lug nuts.

Make sure you buy a good brand like ARP... Long studs like this are common for running some thick alloy wheels on drag cars. So ARP does a good job producing durable studs. I have a Moroso brand, they've been good too.
