hello guys ive searched through the forums up and down and cant find squat on what i have here.it was located attached to the underbody just after the cross member.the black body part was facing the drive shaft while the wires were headed to the engine bay.
little on the car/engine-just bought a 85 442 with original 307 though the people i bought it from decided to do a half assed computer delete.threw a holley carb on WITHOUT the kickdown bracket adapter for the 200-4r,left the computer distributor hooked up and i assume either didnt know or said screw the tcc lock up.car did have an amp and added power antenna to it (the antenna i know is aftermarket).
so i got a ccc carb and hooked it all back up right and while going through the butcher job they did to the wiring harness while deleteing the carb noticed the two wires going under the car just under the steering column,engine bay side anyway.
i have no clue as to what it could be.the wire colors are blue and either tan or grey not honestly sure,also the way the wires are twisted up it almost looks factory to me and not something they added but im probably wrong as ive scoured a few junkyards for parts to get it running right and havent seen the bracket or electrical thing on any other car ive looked at.
anyway any insight would be helpful it doesnt seem like tis affecting the car negatively and i cant find anything it could of gone to in the car's normal wiring harness but im a bit ocd and cant let it go lol.
***forgot to mention car has air shocks in the back but the guy took the transducer out and made it to where you just manually fill them.i looked at a few cars in the junkyard with the air system and none i saw had this either.just thought id throw that in there
