I’d think it would work well on the brick sidewalk. I’d be skeptical that it would be even slightly gentle on shingles.

I wonder if this would strip the shitty paint off my deck without killing the boards...... If so, I bet it beats the hell out of the scraper and pressure washer I’m looking at using!

It might work for both of those, but you’d probably end up taking off more than just paint on that deck
