hello again, well me and the boy got a great deal on some summit racing black bucket seats, 100$ for the set still in the boxes.. The problem i am running into is the mounts are skinnier by about an inch and shorter by about an inch, than our mounts. i was planning on a piece of plate steel mounted to old studs then mount to that. i was just curious what others do in this situation.. any suggestions would be greatly apprieciated.. thanks to all ..

U could run the old bucket seat tracks from ur gbody . Run two pieces of iron over connecting both rails then bolt the seats to the irons . just an idea and if u need the seats a little higher like i would like in my car u could always use some spacers to add height

let me apoligize for not giving all the information, i did mount the old mounts to the seats and try it that way, but they were way to high i am only 5'9 and my head hit the roof. my son is 5'11 already at 14yrs old so he would have a heck of a time driving this in 2 years if i mounted them that high.. sorry for not putting this out first.
