Supercharger

I'm looking for a supercharger with brackets for my sbc 400. I have checked the and have only found the vortech....any ideas.......

I used to work for a shop that specialized in super charger installs. I have installed just about every brand supercharger out there. Vortech makes very high quality superchargers. They also own Paxton. Vortech is the only centrifugal supercharger manufacturer that has SAE white papers available for their products. One of my previous toys was a Mustang notch back with a hci 306 that put 605 to the tire with a Vortech T trim.

So you are saying the vortech is better? What about the torque storm?

I'm not saying that but I would be curious as to what the cfm rating is of their blowers. You don't want something small on a 400. Some thing like a Vortech Ysi would be perfect. I have seen cars with 347 cubic inch engines make over 800 with the YSi.
