I read about the 3.8 to 350 chevy swap parts list, and noticed that a fuel line from tank to pump from a Chevy was required. My olds 307 has the fuel pump on the same side that a chevy would(staying carbureted). Wouldn't the 307 fuel lines work for the SBC? I do know that I will need to change out the vent line. But I would imagine the feed/return lines would be fine? Can anyone chime in who has done this swap?

I swapped motors but stayed carbureted. I ended up re-plumbing with a larger feed line, but it would have run with the old setup.

I don't see any reason why you would need to make any drastic changes. You might just have some minor fittings/plumbing issues.

I guess in order to answer my question, id need to compare it to a v8 monte carlo. My guess is the fuel lines are the same, with exception to the vent line.

Same 3/8 fuel line. The vent line is Olds only and not all Gbody Olds V8s had them. I ran that vent line into the canister.

I just use the stock fuel line and obviously made a new fuel pump to carb line. For the vent I just bought a small K&N slip on filter for it.
