I switch them out a 80s model cutlass tilt column into a 82 buick regal and i cant get the headlights to work.I check my fuses and checked that every connection was pluged in and i cant get them to work. Does anyone know what i should check next.

Check the dimmer switch, it's right on top of the ignition switch. It should "click" when you move the turn signal lever in and out. Double check the headlight dimmer harness connector is engaged securely.
I found out it was the high beam switch on the column under the dash was the reason the lights were not working i just pulled it off the original column thanks for the help.
