t top reglass?

has anyone had there t top glass redone???????? i found a place in Michigan that dose it for $550 for both sides with correct color tint
any input from anyone that has done it?

No,Where at in Michigan? Mine has a couple scratches that i'ed like to address.

sun roof express..they can fix scratches on the out side also they are in troy mi.

I'm going to ask a dumb question but you would pay $550 to get your glass redone? I have NOS Locking t-tops here. Back in the day they cost $850 a side from the factory. We had discussed the possibility of doing these when we did new t-top roofs but the t-tops seemed pretty expensive to build.

Well we will talk to the manufacturer & get pricing. Now that we see an intrest for " restoration replacements". I have a bunch of used T-top glass. We get a lot of cars that the seals were not mainatined,top roof rot, floors, etc.. To the point they are not worth saving. When these cars were daily driven I could barely keep t-top glass in stock in the spring or fall.

I would get the same call.

"So me & the GF/wife went out for a drive. I got up to about 60 & shoooosh!!! Her t-top was never locked down. Do you have a passenger side t-top?" Then you would get the guy who had no one to blame & he needed a driver side t-top LOL
The demand has dropped in the last 3-5 years as people are driving these cars daily less & less.

Not selling the NOS locking & non locking sets I have yet 😉
