Hi All!

Wondering what to do with my hatches when I put them in the trunk. Have thoughts of making a foam fixture in the trunk to keep them from roaming around.

What kind of ideas does the group have?

TIA

Ken

Miles Monte has a nice t-top storage case on he website

You'll have to make something. The way they're designed is poor at best. No means of strapping them in place from the factory. Yeah, you get baggies, but the way they store the trunk latch "bump" in the rear floor can put undue pressure on the T-top trim, damaging it. And if you're hot rodding with the panels in the trunk and fishtail...fuggetaboudit. Making something or buying something like the Mike's Montes piece is the only way around that. At least F-bodies had straps built in and later ones came with T-top slot holders for the rear drop down pocket.

I have the T-Top Tote from Mike's and it's a nice piece. It comes with a piece of padding to put between them when you put them in the bag. I would 100% recommend this tote.

I leave mine at home. But it never leaves if there is the slightest chance of rain. And I never leave parked anywhere I’m worried about theft.😁
