Has anyone here ever open up there tail lights? I ask cause I need to know if the problems I've encountered are common. The plastic above the reverse portion is all crumbly and brittle.
the lenses were sealed with epoxy instead of a gasket.
missing climps

try using a thin blade putty knife and work real slow. I rebuilt my taillight lenses from three different sets..

A little bit of heat isn't a bad thing, either. Put them in the oven at 200 or a little lower.

PRE-HEAT THE OVEN BEFORE ADDING LIGHTS! haha

Wow! 3 sets?! I did find alot of regal tail light pieces at pick your part. Had they been complete and good they would not be there....less I was the first to see the car. Also I've noticed that there is an over abundance of cutlasses. Every yard I go there is at least 3. I've seen 1 monte carlo, and rarely any regals. If I find a regal its usually stripped bare. 😱
