Yes, I did! Once I got to the very end of The Blue Ridge Parkway at Cherokee, what other choice did I have but to run Tail of the Dragon?! I think it's the law. I also drove Cherohala Skyway, bits of Moonshiner 28, Newfound Gap, Diamondback and others. By the time I got to TotD I had a lot of hands on experience on narrow, shoulderless, twisty turny, back country mountain roads and was far less awed by it as I imagined I would be. It's a really fun drive, but turned out not to be my favorite drive. I would absolutely do it again.
